In an
intention to attract the It industries, the Bihar govt had decided to build the
It parks. The Beltron, a state government undertaking firm had taken up the
responsibilities for the development work. Beltron MD Atul Sinha, said "It
would be a win-win proposition for both the state and the private sector”. On
the other hand, it will be helpful to rectify the unemployment in Bihar.
The state
government of Bihar had decided to develop three small IT parks in the Patna.
They also had a plan to set up an IT City in Nalanda near the proposed site of
the Nalanda International University (NIU) campus. The two It parks will be
located at the heart of the city meanwhile the third one is being developed in
Bihta near the IIT-Patna campus.
